International Language School Blanc Léman

Introduction
This is a small class course with 6 to 8 students per class at the most. The programme has been established in accordance with the wishes of students.
Three levels of teaching are given : beginners (course A), intermediate (course B) and advanced (course C)

Course A
This course has been created for beginners who have little or no knowledge of the French language.
The emphasis is principally put on pronunciation and conversation. However basic vocabulary and grammar are not omitted.

Course B
This is a course for students who have followed course A or who already have some knowledge in French. Their vocabulary and grammar will be improved and their written or oral French will be further developed as desired.

Course C
This is an advanced course for students who already have a good knowledge of, written and spoken French. Similarly to Course B, it is based on grammar, vocabulary and dictation. Understanding and discussion with reference to magazine and newspaper articles about topical subjects are not neglected however.

Schedule of the courses

Registration :	Students whose mother tongue is no French may join at any time

Monthly tuition fees : (minimum 4 students)

Tuition guarantee (for students with a permit)
A tuition guarantee of CHF 5’000.-- is requested by the Swiss authority and the Vaud Association of Private Schools (VAPS). This guarantee will be refunded if all payments have been made at the end of the course or may deducted from the deposit. Files and taxes will cost from CHF 600.- to CHF 1’000.-.

Preparation for exams
The students have the opportunity to sit for several exam sessions which generally take place in March, June September and December for the following diplomas :

Official Language Diploma delivered by the French Ministry of Department of Education
· DELF : Diplôme en Langue française
· DALF : Diplôme Approfondi de Langue française

These 6 independent diplomas are based on the six levels of the CECR for languages (A1 – A2 – B1 – B2 – C1 – C2)
